That’s right, everyone’s favourite day of the week. Honestly, I don’t mind Mondays at all and I don’t understand what all the fuss is. You have to go to work? It’s all part of life isn’t it?

Anyway, I’m testing out my ability to post to my blog via email and if it works it may give me one less reason to post on a more regular basis.

As I mentioned yesterday, I ran 11 km in exactly one hour. During that run I did have the occasional “twinge” in my left Achilles but nothing really serious. It’s normally the day after that I have any stiffness or soreness and I’m happy to report that today is pain free!

I was listening to the radio this morning and Chris Moyles and his minions were talking about the Bupa Great North Run because some of them had run in it. Unfortunately I did not watch any of the highlights on television but it sounds like it was a great event. Apparently it is the largest half-marathon in the world.

It got me thinking that perhaps next year I should run the half-marathon in Reading in March and the Great North Run in October. I think I’m ready for two half-marathons in one year but we’ll have to see how things pan out.

Not much for today. Enjoy your day and keep running (virtual or not).
