Hello again loyal reader. You’re the only one that keeps coming back and reading this… really exciting stuff. Thanks for coming back to check on me and see how I’m doing. You may be happy to hear that I’m still surviving Janathon here at the (pretty much) half way mark. Yes, I’m crazy.
Today was supposed to be my proper weekly-whether-I-need-it-or-not rest days and I held true and went for a nice long walk to reduce the strain on my joints and muscles. I mean, c’mon, I weigh 231lbs (105kg) so I gotta give this body a rest somehow or it may take offence and begin punishing me somehow.
Nice early morning walk in and around the area followed up by a ride on the train into town. My son loves trains and is quite happy to go on a short train ride anywhere so two stops and we’re in town. He gets a train ride and daddy gets to sit in Starbucks and have a Venti Latte. We share a cake donut. Gotta be done.
My son is now watching Aladdin and I’m sitting here boring you all with this mundane summary of the day. My sincere apologies.
In other news, it seems there is a 5km run and lunch for all Janathon participants on Saturday 12th Feb in Hyde Park, London. I’m hoping to attend but Saturdays are a bit difficult for me. I’d give you the link to the Facebook page for the event but I can’t access it anymore for some reason. Perhaps they heard I might be attending and have blocked me or removed the page…
FYI, I haven’t used the Slendertone System today as it’s a “rest” day for that too. It says to use it 5 times a week for 4 weeks so that’s what I’m doing.
