10k Runs Planned

I’ve been thinking about what runs I’d like to do over the next few months.  I want to do a few different 10k races over the summer months as training runs (and because I like the medals).

So far it’s going as:-

17 May – Woodley 10k (Woodley, Reading) – I’m registered for this one.

25 May – Bupa 10,000 (London) – I’m registered for this one.

06 June – Dorney Dash (Dorney Lake, Windsor, Berkshire) – I’m registered for this one.

28 June – Sam Run (Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire) – Will probably do it as I did it last year.

08 July – Jog in the Park (Beale Park, Pangbourne, Berkshire) – Considering it.

26 July – Bupa Great Capital Run (Hyde Park, London) – Did this last year and I’m still waiting for registration to open.

23 August – Everton 10k (Everton, New Forest) – Wanted to do it last year but couldn’t.

06 September – Peppard 10k (Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire) – Considering it.

That is what I’ve got so far.  I may slot a couple more in during July and August but that depends on how things are going.  This will also take me up to October which is when everyone will find out if they’ve got a place in the London Marathon in April 2010.

Virgin London Marathon Ballot Update

I’m in the ballot. Late last night the site slowly started to work (I only had to refresh the pages and restart about 6 times) and I managed to enter the ballot for the 2010 VLM.

Now I can relax until October when I’ll find out if I was successful.
