Thanks for the kind words! I just don't want to let my family down because my salary is the main income in our household. I'm sure I'll sort somthing out if it all goes pear-shaped.

That's a bit crap and I'm well and truly in your camp with option number 1 above. However, I was made redundant on 16th Jan and started a new job on 16th Feb so things can turn around pretty quickly even when the market's no good so even if the worst does happen, say sod it, find a short project to keep you busy (I built a bike) and then find something bigger and better. Good luck!!

Sorry about the news on the job front it's a horrible feeling. I spent the whole of last year with my job officially under threat and had literally a last minute reprieve on the day i was supposed to have my departing interview. The stress on me and my family was overwhelming sometimes.

I sincerely hope everything will be OK

Good luck.

ps: just got myself hooked up with Garmin Connect looks good and i saw it was down last night to :)

It's nice to see I photo of what you look like Jamie. (I usually don't turn around while I'm running.) According to one of your blog posts, you no longer wear glasses, is your 'About Me' image is out-dated?

Well, that's all for now.

you know, in my experience there are two things in notice about calorie intake / output on days i run. sure i burn more, but also it acts to supress hunger so i think i take on less calories than days i dont run. i dont know if that makes sense or if anyone else has experienced that, but i'm sure on training days its a double plus.. take on less and burn more...

Great blog you have here. Very inspirational. I have a site as well which I hope will be a top resource for those looking for the motivation they need in order to lose weight. There are very little sites like ours out there.

I'd like to exchange links with you. Please let me know if this is possible under the "Best Weight Loss Websites" page. Until then, keep up the good work.
